Jaakan

　　This is spoken of in Israel's journey when they went from Beeroth. (Deuteronomy 10:6.) If it be a place, perhaps it was so called from the meaning of the word Canan, rest; otherwise, if referring to the children of Jaakon, we might have expected the name would have been Bene Jaakan, the sons of Jaakan.
