　　 ZABBAI . 1 . One of the descendants of Bebai who had married a foreign wife ( Ezra 10:28 ); called in Esther 9:29 Esther 9:29 Jozabdus . 2 . Father of Baruch who assisted in the re-building of the wall ( Nehemiah 3:20 ). The Kerç has, perhaps rightly, Zaccai , a name which occurs in Ezra 2:9 = Nehemiah 7:14 , and is the origin of the Zacchæus of 2Ma 10:19 and the NT.
