Have Christian Female Entrepreneurs Changed The World?
Have Christian Female Entrepreneurs Changed The World?
Jun 27, 2025 3:10 PM

Christina M. Weber says that Christian women have been trail-blazers in showing us how to balance family life, work and worship. In the 20th century, Weber says that political ideologies tried to break down family life.

Marxists munists promoted disconnection between children and their parents with patible work schedules. They also destabilized marriages with the encouragement of promiscuity and lust.

The agenda—dependence on the state above family and God — fueled the economic and political goals of their leaders.

But women know better. They know that family is the key to society, and keeping that in the forefront of their minds as they built businesses set them apart.

With your Christ-centered entrepreneurial spirit, you are interjecting sanity and order into the world. You model how to put faith and family first, to give value to your customers, all while making a positive economic impact on your family’s budget and the world.

You inspire others whether you are in direct sales, online workor have a brick-and-mortar business! Other people notice you using your God-given gifts to create a life with money and time to spend as you want.

You show how not just to work, but work in a leveraged, smart way so you can rest, recreate, and invest in relationships. You are bringing your feminine genius into the world. You are helping the world get into a better balance between the masculine and feminine energies.

St. John Paul II, in his apostolic letter, Mulieris Dignitatem [The Dignity and Vocation of Women], spoke of “feminine genius:”

In our own time, the successes of science and technology make it possible to attain material well-being to a degree hitherto unknown. While this favours some, it pushes others to the edges of society. In this way, unilateral progress can also lead to a gradual loss of sensitivity for man, that is, for what is essentially human. In this sense, our time in particular awaits the manifestation of that “genius” which belongs to women, and which can ensure sensitivity for human beings in every circumstance: because they are human! – and because “the greatest of these is love” (cf. 1 Cor 13:13).

Yes, women have gifts that are unique to them, and they bring those gifts to their work, whether that works takes them outside the home or not. Feminine genius is greatly needed today: for our families, our work life, our society and culture.
