New Israeli illegal settlement in East Jerusalem
New Israeli illegal settlement in East Jerusalem
Oct 28, 2025 3:36 PM

The Israeli government, headed by Benjamin Netanyahu, approved the construction of 14 units in Maaleh David outpost, which is a new settlement neighborhood planned to be built in Ras Amoud Palestinian neighborhood in occupied East Jerusalem.

Israeli Peace Now Movement issued a press release stating that the new settlement will include 104 units and will be connected to Maaleh Zeitim outpost.

The area in question includes a former police station in Ras Al Amoud as the station was moved to an area in Maaleh Adumim settlement. The station will be demolished and will be replaced by seven apartment buildings.

Peace Now said that the new construction will sabotage all efforts to achieve ‘peace’ in the future.

Settlement construction and expansion, especially in occupied East Jerusalem, is one of the core issues that obstruct the peace-making process and undermine the legitimacy of the talks.

Settlements violate the International Law, the Fourth Geneva Conventions and constitute a war crime.

Marjah civilians run out of food
With a month of advance notice of the massive NATO invasion, Marjah’s civilian population had ample opportunity to slip away. Israeli companies violate West Bank construction freeze
Israeli building companies are trying to circumvent a construction freeze in West Bank settlements, sometimes by laying the foundations to new apartments after dark or during the weekend, an Israeli human rights organization said Monday. Peace Now, which monitors settlement growth, said that violations of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's 10-month...

Besieged Gazans raise money for Haiti
Palestinians, living in the Gaza Strip under years of Israel siege, are in efforts to donate what little they have to help those struck by the earthquake in Haiti.
